William D. Smith, III, OD is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology at UPMC. Dr. Smith received his Doctor of Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry and is residency trained in the area of Low Vision Rehabilitation from the William Feinbloom Center for Low Vision Rehabilitation. Dr. Smith has been with the Department of Ophthalmology for twelve years. Dr. Smith is the recent recipient of ACES Award: Award for Commitment in Excellence and Services: 2019 as well as the 2019 Excellence in Patient Experience Award at UPMC.
